This section documents the technical aspects of Servala: the architecture of the Web Portal, how it connects to provider control planes, how the service catalog, billing and multi-tenancy work, operational setup, and integrations such as the Exoscale Marketplace.

Target Audience

This part of the documentation targets mainly Servala engineers.

Sections

  • Architecture: Web Portal, control planes, authentication, multi-tenancy, service catalog and instances, billing, and the planned Portal API.
  • Operations: administering the portal, registering control planes, billing entities, and the required Kubernetes RBAC.
  • Integrations: the Exoscale Marketplace (Open Service Broker) integration.
  • Internal: planning notes, user stories, and the database model. These are design notes and are subject to change.
