Exoscale is a European cloud provider with Swiss roots, offering compute, storage, and database services across Switzerland and the European Union.

Datacenter locations¶
Exoscale operates zones across Switzerland and the European Union. Each zone has a zone code, which is used in the availability matrix:

Where Servala runs on Exoscale today
Servala is currently only available in Geneva (CH-GVA-2). The other Exoscale
zones are following. If you are interested in running Servala services in another
zone, contact Servala to express your interest.
Data residency¶
Exoscale runs zones in both Switzerland and the EU, and Exoscale is operated by a
Swiss company. Your data residency depends on the zone you choose. Today Servala
runs in Geneva (CH-GVA-2), which gives Swiss data residency. As more zones are
enabled, you will be able to select a Swiss zone for Swiss residency or an EU zone
for EU residency.
Provider-specific operations¶
- Onboarding: Exoscale services can be provisioned through direct signup, or through the Exoscale Marketplace, which sets up your organization and billing automatically. See Marketplace Onboarding.
