General runbook PersistentVolumeFillingUp

Follow the steps in the general runbook first. Increase the storage size before you clean up. This page adds the steps for PostgreSQL.

What happens when the volume is full

PostgreSQL stops when it cannot write to the disk. The database then does not accept any connections until there is free space again.

Free up space

After you have increased the storage size, find and remove the data you do not need. See Free up storage.
